Why inform about cookies

It is on the basis of decisions of the European Commission and the European Parliament that rules have been set for websites to inform about the use of cookies. The purpose is to protect consumers from unwanted registration. The detailed content appears in Directive on privacy and electronic communications . The directive is an obligation for individual Member States to implement the necessary legislation to achieve the purpose of the directive.
